Jordi Colomer

21 October 2008 - 4 January 2009

In many of his video installations in whioch architecture and the contemporary city appear as a fictional backdrop, Jordi Colomer examines the way in which city planning influences human behavious and explores the omnipresence and negative impact of modernism in the cityscape. Keenly aware of sociological, psychological and philosophical issues, and also of mistakes, incongruities and everyday things that are all too often forgotten, Jordi Colomer speaks with great critical clarity about the little things in life, about his profound thoughts on the idea of difference and the angst it generates, and about how architecture relates to the city.
