The series entitled "Monumental" focuses on representing spaces that the general public cannot see: store rooms, corridors, backstage areas. One of the characteristics of these photographs taken in situ is that despite their lack of human presence, the places bear the traces of it: a remembrance left by the myriad details scarring the walls. By systematically recording these places, photography gives us a different vision of space. A disturbing sense of silence and emptiness reveals the spirits of these walls.
