Jordis Antonia Schlösser, member of the Ostkreuz agency, travelled along the borders of Europe, the Russian Federation, Belarus and Ukraine, regions where war, expulsion and the Holocaust have all left their mark and which now form part of modern Europe. In this exhibition she juxtaposes industrial regions where she photographs not only changes in the rural or urban landscape marked by depopulation, but also the behaviour of people lamenting their own rootlessness and the loss of their homes.
