This exhibition of all of Richard Long's books gives an insight into the many facets of his work, often compared to Land Art. Photography is at the heart of Long's books: it is at once a trace, a record and an artwork in its own right. Like a travel notebook, photography fires the imagination of the viewer, recording atmospheres on walks and providing physical proof of them.
