European point of vue from Joseph Sudek to Gabriele Basilicco
The collection of the Maison Européenne de la Photographie is representative of international photographic creation from the 1950's to today.
In counterpoint to the Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibit "des Européens", we have selected within this collection a series of works produced in Europe by some of the greatest photographers.
This procedure is not exhaustive. Its objective is to propose several milestones in the history of contemporary photography and to testify of the diversity of its practices.
