Technical realisation and strategic projection, the road is one of the most ancient vectors of transmission, where transit men and women, objects, beliefs and ideas. But it is also a space and form, where the eye of photographers has always liked to lose or build itself... wandering, travel, speed, materials, lines, relief...

This exhibition proposed by Régis Debray presents, from Jacques-Henri Lartigues to Sophie Ristelhueber, some sixty photographs by authors and institutional documents, for the most part unknown to the public.

To cover all these directions, the Cahiers de Médiologie, directed by Régis Debray, are coming out with a second issue.
