In the background, a powerful reportage chronicles the vibrancy of a multicultural England. Having grown up in the UK after emigrating from Jamaica, Morris captures the soul of Black British culture through intimate portraits of marginalized communities. The exhibition highlights how his work documents the social and racial upheavals of post-colonial England, while positioning him as a key figure in the musical counterculture. By blending his passion for photography and music, Morris offers a unique perspective on the intersection of Black and white culture, where reggae and punk converge as symbols of a rebellious youth.
