Dennis Morris — Music + Life

The exhibition Dennis Morris — Music + Life traces the career of a photographer and art director whose work captures the soul of the musical counterculture and the Black British community. Combining documentary work with portraits of Bob Marley, the Sex Pistols, Patti Smith or the Stone Roses, Morris creates an intimate connection with his subjects as he explores the worlds of music and social reality.

Edward Weston — Becoming Modern

Drawn from the renowned collection of the Wilson Centre for Photography, Edward Weston — Becoming Modern traces an important turning point in Weston’s career, as he developed a new modernist style that moved away from a Pictorialism inspired by influences from Asia, the Middle East and North African, and from 19th-century Romanticism.

Tyler Mitchell — Wish This Was Real

The MEP presents the first solo exhibition in France of the talented photographer and video artist Tyler Mitchell. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1995, the artist redefines the representation of the black American community through vibrant works in soft colours and harmonious settings.
