Peitersen – From Now On

Danish photographer Alexander Arnild Peitersen’s series ‘From Now On’ is a fragmented reflection on times that have passed, depicted in an array of monochrome and colour images captured using multiple camera formats over a period of six years. While focusing on themes such as transition and memory, and investigating issues like isolation, alienation, and nature, the work also inhabits a space of mysticism and poetry. It can be read as stories, rituals, or attempts to map out the necessities needed to survive as a human being. Scenes of landscapes, hunting, dancing, drinking, and the unforgiving reality of nature’s dominance all interweave in Peitersen’s set of images.
