Herzau – Liberia

Inspired by Binyavanga Wainaina’s famous essay « How to write about Africa », the photographer Andreas Herzau travelled to Liberia in 2019 and tried to see the country without European prejudices. The result is a photo-book that shows Liberia not as a land of wars and crises, but as an exciting, versatile country on the move.
