Saksa – Dawn Chorus

Visual artist and photographer Perttu Saksa’s work focuses on our relationship with the environment. Photography in Dawn Chorus explores similarities between geological and human time. The book opens with award-winning author Anni Kytömäki’s short fiction. Dawn Chorus takes place in Hankoniemi, Finland’s southernmost shores and cliffs. The book consists of 90 black and white images from 2002–2022.
