Soininen – Transcendent country of the mind

In her early twenties, photographer Sari Soininen regularly and excessively experimented with LSD, which eventually led to an extended psychotic episode that impacted her life in a profound way. ‘Transcendent Country of the Mind’ is a deep dive into encounters with alternative dimensions of reality and perceptions of otherworldly signs around us. Through a kaleidoscope of mesmerising landscapes, unfamiliar portraits, and more, it tells a story of subconsciousness, about the world that resides in the back of our minds.
